Noughts and Crosses

Nine cells, three in a row, X moves first — and the whole game is solved. There are 19,683 positions and every one of them has an exact value, plus the set of moves that achieve it. That is what the teacher panel reads, and it is why the top bot level is not "strong" but correct.

Sharp cannot be beaten — the best available result against it is a draw. That is not a bug; it is the game. Rookie and Steady exist to be beaten.
👥 Local Two-Player Two players, one device. X opens and the squares are numbered 1–9 in reading order, so the keyboard plays them directly.
🤖 vs Computer Three levels. Rookie takes a win and otherwise plays the first empty square; Steady adds one ply of threat awareness; Sharp is the solved table and never loses.
🌍 Online Versus Open a room, send the four-digit code. The server owns the board and re-checks every square with the same engine this page runs, and the variant is locked to whoever created the room.
🎓 Teacher Only a solved game can do this: see the exact value of the position in front of you, how many moves keep it, and play it out with show me.
